Hindi: Fayyad is politically mutinous and uncontrollable
[ 04/02/2010 - 11:29 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Mohamed Al-Hindi, a senior Islamic Jihad official, on Wednesday strongly denounced Salam Fayyad’s participation in Herzliya conference, describing Fayyad as politically mutinous and out of control.

In a press statement, Dr. Hindi said that Fayyad’s participation in Herzliya conference reflected the size of the political and security partnership between the Ramallah government and the Israeli occupation.

The Islamic Jihad official underlined that this participation constituted a departure from the position of the Palestine liberation organization (PLO) towards the issue of negotiation with Israeli leaders.

He expressed his Movement’s fears that there is a lurking danger behind such participation and other serious stands taken by Fayyad, the thing which entails a comprehensive review of all policies pursued by the leadership of the Palestinian Authority and the PLO, and the building of a national authoritative body able to confront the challenges in the Palestinian arena.

The official pointed out that the headlines tabled in this conference, especially with regard to the occupied city of Jerusalem and peace projects, confirmed presence of more policies of aggression towards the Palestinian people, their cause and the Arabs and Muslims in general.
