RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces on Friday fired bullets and teargas at Palestinian citizens and foreign sympathizers who were marching in a peaceful demonstration against the construction of the separation wall on the lands of Na'lin village west of Ramallah.

Local sources said that large numbers of army troops were deployed in the area and blocked media from reaching it.

The citizens cut the barbed wire installed by those soldiers to prevent them from reaching their lands, but they were met with the IOF firing of bullets and teargas that injured Mohammed Siyaj, 23, in his head while many others were treated for suffocation as a result of inhaling the teargas.

The man was carried to hospital where his injury was described as moderate.

Meanwhile, big numbers of IOF soldiers raided three villages in Jenin district before dawn Saturday amidst indiscriminate shooting of live bullets and sonic bombs.

Locals said that the soldiers searched a number of homes including the home of Nizar Sawarke in Arraba, who was killed in a mine explosion at dawn Friday south of Jenin. The soldiers interrogated Sawarka's family members after forcing them out of their homes and detaining them for long hours.

Other IOF units stormed Nablus city and its nearby refugee camp of Ein Beit Al-Ma, broke into citizens' homes but no arrests were reported.

In a new development, witnesses reported that IOF soldiers forced civilians crossing a road barrier at the southern entrance to Qabatia town, south of Jenin district, to strip for bodily search.

In the Gaza Strip, IOF gunboats attacked two fishing boats and kidnapped four fishermen off the Beit Lahia coast in northern Gaza in a fresh violation of the calm agreement.
