GAZA, (PIC)-- A five-month-old Palestinian baby was killed and ten others were wounded in six different Israeli airstrikes on different targets in the Gaza Strip carried out just before mid-night Wednesday.
The airstrikes targeted two different buildings of the PA Interior Ministry, two metal workshops, a garage and a car-battery shop.
Dr. Muaweyah Hasaneen, the director of emergency services at the PA Ministry of health confirmed the death of baby Muhammad al-Borai and that seven of the wounded are women and children after Israeli occupation helicopters struck the Interior Ministry building near Shifa Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said that the airstrike resulted in the demolition of 3 floors of the four-storey building and caused damage to near-by homes resulting in casualties amongst their residents.
Two airstrikes targeted two metal workshops, one in Gaza city and the other in Khan Younis. A third airstrike targeted a car repair workshop in Khan Younis and a fourth targeted a car battery shop in Gaza city.
Furthermore, Israeli F16's struck another Interior Ministry building in Gaza city, destroying the 3-storey building, wounding 3 people and causing serious damage to surrounding buildings.
