MP Mansour: Israel destroyed many things in Gaza except the resistance

NABLUS, (PIC)-- MP Mona Mansour on Monday stated that Israel failed in its war on the Gaza Strip because it succeeded only in killing civilians, women and children and in destroying many things except the Palestinian resistance.

In a press statement, MP Mansour said that the televised scenes of the Israeli holocaust in the Gaza Strip tear both hearts and minds, asserting that this crime would not be the last one in Israel's history which is full of massacres.

The lawmaker underlined that the massacres in Gaza are clear massages to the Arab and Islamic nation not to remain any more silent and to the advocates of normalization and strategic peace to reconsider their positions.

The lawmaker pointed out that she sent letters to Arab, Islamic and European parliaments to explain the size of Gaza tragedy and to remind them of their humanitarian responsibilities towards the Gaza people.

In a panel discussion about the new American administration held on Sunday in the Egyptian syndicate of doctors, Dr. Amr Hamzawy, a senior researcher in the institute of peace in Washington, stated that Hamas would emerge from the war stronger and more popular.

Dr. Hamzawy questioned whether the new US administration would deal with Hamas as a popular and political movement which cannot be ignored or otherwise, but he expressed his belief that the new administration would contribute to maintaining the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Gaza.

He noted that the new faces in the management of US foreign relations have close ties with Israel and will show big sympathy with it such as Hillary Clinton who was the candidate of New York, the city of the Zionist lobby.
