Al-Qassam Brigades captures two Israeli soldiers east of Gaza city

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, successfully captured at a late hour Saturday two Israeli soldiers in the area of Jabal Al-Rais, east of Gaza city, where they were transferred to a safe place away from the battlefield, media reports said. For their part, Israeli sources said that the Israeli military command lost contact with one of its soldiers. The capture of the two Israel soldiers happened when Qassam fighters ambushed a special Israeli force east of Gaza and detonated an anti-personnel explosive device at them which inflicted a number of casualties in their ranks. Qassam spokesman Abu Obeida stated that the Brigades would not give any free information to the Israeli occupation on the capture of the soldiers, adding that the Palestinian people and the world will hear surprises in the coming hours. Abu Obeida noted that the number of Israeli soldiers killed is more than the number of Qassam martyrs. The spokesman underlined that the Israeli occupation was "foolish" when it decided to carry out its incursion in the Gaza Strip because the Palestinian resistance was getting prepared for years to confront it, pointing out the IOF troops are confused, invade empty areas, try to stay away from the resistance attacks and shell civilian houses from a distance. Hamas political leader Khaled Mishaal had warned Israel before the incursion that any folly to invade Gaza would make its troops face a black fate and join their mate Gilad Shalit who already fell in the hands of the Palestinian resistance.

It seems as though this may be an excellent source of leverage for the situation you're people are in; however, please remember the soldiers are young boys just as you are or may have been and do not always represent the views of their government. This is true for many US soldiers here as both my husband and I were enlisted years ago. Please do not kill them. Keeping them alive and treated well will help your cause within the International Community as harming them will just prove everyone right. May God protect your people..especially children.

As an American, I believe the majority would agree with me that this tragedy is happening because there's something wrong to beging with: It is wrong to subject human beings to become second class citizens in their own land, and force them to live in refugee camps forever. If you add to that the overpopulation, and the continuous blockade of humanitarian supplies, then you have 1.5 million people living in prison, so that others can live well and happy? Hell, if it were me, I'd fighting like mad!!! I hope the Palestinian get the justice that they deserve.

It is absolutely important that any israelie soldiers captured be treated according to Geneva Convention. It would be a huge mistake to treat israelie soldiers as the zionsts would if reversed. Hamas must show the world they are not killers or terrorists, but abide by the International law. Hamas must be smart. Do nothing to these soldiers that the zionists can use against Hamas for their own public relations.
