Death toll of Gazan citizens soar as journalist is killed in Israeli airstrike
[ 10/07/2014 - 07:43 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- A wave of Israeli airstrikes, targeting a clearly marked 24 Media “press vehicle”, left journalist Shihab Hamed dead and 8 more others severely injured late Wednesday evening.

Medics said Shihab’s body remains were taken to al-Shifa hospital following the raid.

According to the Information Ministry Undersecretary Ihab al-Ghussain, Shihab’s murder is an Israeli war crime by all standards.

Ghussain held the international community responsible for Shihab’s death.

Such Israeli aggressions on the Gaza Strip have been going on for the third day running, bringing the death toll to 54 so far. Hundreds of civilians have been left wounded while dozens of Palestinian homes were razed to the ground throughout the strikes.
