JENIN, (PIC)-- Jewish settlers stormed the site of the evacuated settlement of Homesh to the south of Jenin at dawn Sunday and closed the Jenin-Nablus main road.

Local sources in the nearby Seelat Al-Dhaher village said that settlers tried to attack citizens’ houses at the outskirts of the village and insulted them while chanting racist anti-Arab slogans.

A number of those settlers also set up a roadblock at the Jenin-Nablus main road and blocked traffic under protection of Israeli occupation forces.

The settlers routinely attack the Homesh site and damage in the process Palestinian olive trees and fields.
