OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- A group of Jewish settlers protected by Israeli occupation police, forcefully occupied on Tuesdat a Palestinian family's home in Sheikh Jarrah suburb in occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the group took over the home of Hajja Rifka al-Kurd adding that an Israeli occupation court turned down an appeal by the Kurd family against their house being turned over to the Jewish settlers.

The Palestinian residents of the house were forced out on the street.

Tens of Palestinians demonstrated outside the confiscated house, according to Israeli radio.

Sheikh Jarrah suburb has been the scene of 3 other such confiscations recently. There are 28 other homes that Jewish settlers plan to confiscate on the pretext that they own those homes.
