WEST BANK, (PIC)-- The PA security apparatuses continued to arrest and summon activists in the West Bank. Three were arrested in Ramallah, Bethlehem and Nablus and a fourth was summoned in Tulkarem. The IOF also arrested two activists who were released from PA jails.

In the Bethlehem district, the “Preventive Security” arrested university student Mahmoud Ghunaim from the village of Khader after he responded to  a summons for interrogation.

Local sources say that the Magistrates court in Bethlehem extended his detention for 15 days for interrogation.

In Nablus the PA General Intelligence (Mukhabarat) arrested Saleh Amer from the village of Kafer Qallil to the south of the city.

In Tulkarem, meanwhile, the Mukhabarat summoned Hammam Attili from the village of Attil to the north of the city. He declared that he will not answer the summons because it was illegal and it contradicts with what was agreed in the national reconciliation agreement.

In Ramallah district, Preventive Security arrested university student Jihad Salim from his accommodation in Birzeit. Student sources said that the security men who arrested Salim provocatively tampered with the contents of the accommodation. He was released later in the evening after he was handed a summons to attend Preventive Security offices in Tulkarem.

In al-Khalil district, PA security apparatuses summoned dozens of Hamas supporters concentrating on Beit Ummar and Halhul to the north of al-Khalil city. The summonses also concentrated on ex-captives in Israeli occupation jails, and those previously imprisoned in PA jails.

Meanwhile, the IOF arrested Shadi Saharab (33 years) from the village of Awarta to the south of Nablus after raiding his house. He was detained previously by PA security apparatuses.

The IOF also arrested university student Deya’ Qashou’ while on his way back home from university, at the Jaba' military roadblock. Qashou' was previously detained in PA jails.
