BETHLEHEM, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday detained two Palestinians west of Bethlehem city during raids at the pretext that they were wanted for interrogation, Hebrew press reported.

Meanwhile, in Yaffa a Palestinian teenager was rushed to a Holon hospital for treatment after an Israeli settler attacked him with a knife on Monday.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper's website said that the police detained a 20-year-old settler for suspicion of launching the stabbing attack.

In another development, a number of fanatic settlers have tried to break into a Palestinian home in Burin village, Nablus district, on Sunday night.

Local sources said that 15 settlers tried to storm the home of Ayman Soufan but the citizens confronted and foiled their attempt.

In Al-Khalil district, IOF soldiers destroyed two electricity transmission towers southeast of Yatta village at the pretext they were built in "prohibited areas".
