Haneyya invites Clinton to Gaza to witness Israel's atrocities

GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya called on US secretary of state Hillary Clinton to visit the Gaza Strip to see the enormity of Israel's war crimes.

Haneyya made his remarks during a visit on a Tuesday to Al-Shifa hospital where he met with victims of the Israeli military aggression, listened to them and received a brief on their medical conditions.

He hoped that Clinton could be unprejudiced and stop denying the Palestinian people the right to defend themselves, and invited her to visit Gaza to witness with her own eyes what is really happening on the ground.

The premier also expressed profound horror at the size of the Israeli atrocities committed against the Palestinians, especially the children, adding that what he saw during his visit was an Israeli savagery and brutality in every sense of the word.

In another context, head of the German social democratic party Sigmar Gabriel called for stopping to ignore Hamas Movement and affirmed that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict cannot be solved without it.

He stated in press remarks to the German news agency that Hamas is one of the important elements in this conflict which cannot be addressed if any of them is neglected.

He affirmed that he intended to meet with a senior Hamas official and to visit Gaza, but he changed his plans because of the Israeli escalation in Gaza.
