GAZA, (PIC)-- A high-level delegation of European lawmakers and politicians is expected to visit the Gaza Strip next Saturday to assess and report on the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave following Israel's last military action.

Regional director of the European-Palestinian relations council Rami Abdo said about 30 US political and human rights activists would join the European delegation.

Abdo told Quds Press that the delegation would start its tour with a visit to the house of Dalu family who was massacred in an Israeli air raid on their three-story house.

The delegation will meet with officials from the Palestinian parliament, the European-Palestinian relations council and the UNRWA, he stated.

Field trips will also be organized for the delegation to witness the enormity of devastation in residential areas caused by the Israeli aggression against Gaza.
