Haniya discusses developments in Gaza with Jordan's premier

AMMAN, (PIC)-- Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh telephoned the prime minister of Jordan Abdullah Nsour, on Monday evening to discuss the latest developments on the Palestinian arena in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The official Jordanian Petra news agency reported that Haniyeh expressed his thanks and appreciation for Jordan for its position supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause and for the medical and humanitarian assistance provided by Jordan to the Gaza Strip.

He also expressed his appreciation for Jordan's support for the Palestinians during the recent meetings of the foreign ministers of the Arab states.

For its part; the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent telegrams of thanks to the Arab foreign ministers for their support of the Palestinian people during the aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian ministry sent also an information report containing preliminary details of the casualties and other material losses caused by the aggression in the Gaza Strip.
