Health minister: Turkey offers free medical treatment for Gaza patients

ISTANBUL, (PIC)-- The health minister in the PA caretaker government, Dr. Basem Naim, announced in Istanbul on Saturday that Turkey has agreed to offer free medical care to Gaza patients and wounded.

Naim said after meeting his Turkish counterpart Recep Akdag in Istanbul that the health ministry in Turkey is ready to organize training courses for Palestinian medical cadres for various periods of time.

The minister told Gaza daily 'Palestine' published on Sunday that Akdag had promised to study providing scholarships for Palestinian doctors to pursue higher MA and PhD studies.

Naim briefed his Turkish counterpart on the health conditions in Gaza Strip and the impact of the Israeli siege on level of medical services extended to patients in the Gaza hospitals.

The minister also visited Palestinian patients and wounded receiving treatment in Turkish hospitals in the company of a delegation from the IHH Turkish society.

This is like using a small plaster on a bleeding body. Instead of cutting of all ties with Israel and uniting the ummah and regain Palestine and our former glory as Muslims, "Muslim countries" offer free care to some patients while allowing the slaughter to continue. Sho stafadna? It is better to show Israel u dont accept that they slaughter Muslim instead of letting them slaughter and then give the victims some care.
