GAZA, (PIC)-- The popular committee against the siege said that the Israeli occupation authority on Wednesday barred entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip and banned entry of cement shipments for three days.
The committee in a press release said that the traffic across the Gaza crossings was still "unsatisfactory" despite the lapse of almost a month on the calm agreement.
It said that the quality of materials allowed access into the Strip was decreased instead of being increased, and noted that restricting entry of raw material paralyzed industries.
For his part, MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the committee, said that the situation does not carry any good omens on a real "breakthrough" in the crossings' commercial traffic.
The Palestinian citizen is not feeling any worthwhile improvement in various health, economic, social, industrial, humanitarian or other sectors, he elaborated.
Khudari said that the committee was still maintaining correspondence with various Arab and international institutions in a bid to clarify the conditions in Gaza.
The MP appealed to the world community to intervene to break the siege on Gaza, which is still enforced despite Israeli propaganda to the contrary.
