Israeli F-16 fighter jets attack and destroy a four-story building in the Al-Yarmouk neighborhood of Gaza City, killing Hamas activist and commander of the Izz Eddin Al-Qassem wing Sheikh Salah Shehadeh, 49, his wife and one of his children and at least 14 other civilians, including 10 children aged two months to 11 years. Over 150 are injured, many of them women and children. Nearby buildings also suffer damage.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Palestinian prisoners in Ofer prison declared the establishment of the Department of National Unity in section 15 which includes detainees from all Palestinian factions to stress on the Palestinian national unity.

The representative of the ofer prisoners, Shadi Shallaldah, stated that the department's formation came in response of the Israeli aggression on Gaza strip, insisting that this unity translated the victory of prisoners on their jailers and also expressed the prisoners' unity despite the occupation's will.

The Israeli prisons have been witnessing a state of anger amongst prisoners since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
